My background in animation and visual design shapes how I think about spatial experience; my HCI work adds experimental methods for testing what those design decisions change.
I completed an M.S. in Information and Interaction Design in 2026 and now focus on HCI, VR/XR, eye tracking, digital health, and healthy ageing.
From visual storytelling to interaction research.
I began my training in animation, which gave me a strong foundation in visual composition, 3D environments, movement, and digital production. Over time, I became more interested in how people interact with digital environments than in the environments as static visual outputs.
I completed an M.S. in Information and Interaction Design at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), where I moved toward HCI and immersive health research. I began building VR systems, using eye tracking as an interaction modality, designing controlled user studies, and integrating psychological and physiological measures into evaluation. This shift allowed me to connect my design background with questions about attention, behavior, rehabilitation, and mental health.
My current work includes eye-controlled VR mindfulness, gaze-mediated fall-prevention training for older adults, restorative virtual environments, and AI-assisted embodied art therapy. I am particularly interested in systems where sensing and interaction are tightly connected—where gaze, movement, or physiological state changes what the system does.
I am preparing for doctoral study in HCI / Interaction Design / Digital Health, with a focus on immersive interaction, healthy ageing, adaptive VR/XR, and multimodal evaluation.
